Paint and sip near me, Art classes near me

I organize painting, modern calligraphy and brush lettering, hand embroidery, jewelry making, and other crafting classes and paint and sip events all over the city. You can check the upcoming classes and workshops here. I also teach at CraftJAM, Michaels Art Stores, and online at Skillshare as well as different venues all around New York City, including parks and other outdoor spaces when the weather is nice. I also offer private classes in person and online, check the details here. Students enjoy unwinding while expressing themselves through art, hand lettering, and other crafts and creating their very own handmade artwork.

In person classes include all the necessary art supplies, be that watercolor  paper, pre-sketched canvas or other surfaces, unlimited painting, hand lettering, and crafting materials (brushes, watercolors, acrylic paints, palettes, dip pens and other calligraphy supplies, and miscellaneous tools), painter's smock, table easels (when required), and a take-home bag to protect the artwork. All students need to bring is an adventurous and curious spirit to have fun and relax while creating art, socializing, and making new friends.

Be sure to check the calendar of upcoming workshops and events for all the fun classes I teach such as Watercolor Florals, Embroidery Wall Art, Embroidery Patches, Watercolor Brush Lettering, Modern Calligraphy and Brush Lettering, Pompom and Tassel Jewelry, and more!

I teach acrylic and watercolor painting techniques at Michaels Art Store in Chelsea. Painting kits for both mediums can be purchased at the store and include plenty of paint, brushes, a palette, and substrates that can be re-used for future classes or independent projects but feel free to bring your own supplies if you have it. Register at and choose the Chelsea location at 675 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY, 10010. Alternatively, you can register directly at the store and pay at the register at least 24 hours before the class you would like to attend. Classes are held on Thursdays from 6 to 8PM. Check the class schedule for dates and which medium will be used, as well as a sample of the projects we'll be painting.

If you hear a voice within you say "you cannot paint," then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced. (Van Gogh)

Classes are perfect for all levels - beginners through advanced are all welcome. Students learn the basics of painting such as preparing a surface, mixing colors, blending, shading and highlighting, and a host of easy techniques, all the while enjoying a fun and relaxing experience. The results are amazing and students leave with a painting project they're proud to display or give away as gifts.
